Covid-19 Update Alert Level 4 – 20 August 2021
A recent update from the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment has provided greater clarification of what are considered to be Essential / Non Essential businesses and services under Covid Alert Level 4.
The update includes an expectation that businesses and consumers act responsibly.
As a 3PL, under Alert Level 4 restrictions, we should only be distributing the following products;
- “Essential” products as determined by MBIE at https://covid19.govt.nz/business-and-money/businesses/doing-business-at-alert-level-4/#businesses-and-services-that-can-operate-under-alert-level-4
- “Essential Non-Food Consumer Products” as determined by MBIE at https://www.business.govt.nz/covid-19/operating-at-alert-levels/
In addition, as an Essential Freight Service, we are able to receive any inbound inwards goods at our warehouses during operating hours where resource allows.
We would ask that you carefully review the MBIE guidelines, ensuring your business is compliant and therefore only sending through orders to Online Distribution that are aligned with the above. By adhering to the guidelines, you will help us restrict the number of our people required to be on-site, protecting our employees and the community.
