Covid-19 Alert Level 4 Update – 26 August 2021
Firstly, we wish to express our gratitude to all of our teams working on site during this time and also to you, our clients, for your support, patience and understanding.
Pleasingly, as we enter day 8 of Alert Level 4 lockdown, our business is operationally sound; in and outbound inventory is moving through each of our facilities, and our carriers’ networks are coping, with some not unexpected delays. Our sites and staff are extremely well provisioned with PPE and able to carry out their functions safely, observing safe working practices.
As we continue to consider all risk mitigation options available to us, we have introduced split shifts at all our sites this week, implementing a two-team strategy with a cleaning break between shifts. This provides for additional protection and helps to reduce the risk of a full site team being involved in any COVID related issues.
These shifts are timed to ensure no overall reduction in labour input, and we expect them to have minimal impact on our clients. There may however be instances where your regular contact may not be available, but you can be assured that there will always be someone else on site who can help you. If you need to escalate any urgent issues, you can also contact the Operations Manager/Supervisor for your site:
|Freight Place||Jesse Strickland||027 422 1033|
|Savill Drive||Adam Dunstan||021 915 570|
|Joseph Hammond Place||Jesse Strickland||027 422 1033|
|Port Hills Road||David Crisp||021 331 826|
|All other sites||Tom Green||029 777 1058|
We also want to take this opportunity to remind our clients that our network of warehouses covers both Auckland and Christchurch. Should you wish to explore inventory holdings either by proximity to market, or for risk mitigation reasons, we would encourage you to talk with your site manager, or to contact our National Sales Manager Sam Stokes at email@example.com, phone 021 311 790.
We thank you for your continued support as we endeavour to fulfil our services on your behalf with as little disruption as possible.
