COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) WATCH
We are continuing to monitor the situation on a daily basis and are encouraged by the New Zealand Ministry of Health’s advice that with continued vigilance the chance of widespread community outbreak is expected to remain low.
As a member of both the Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA), we receive regular updates and advice from them.
We are taking every opportunity to remind our staff of the importance of good personal hygiene, including washing hands often and well and the recommended protocols around coughing and sneezing. All our managers are keeping a diligent watch over the health of their teams and if our staff are unwell, they are being advised to stay at home.
Our business continuity measures have been triggered on a number of previous occasions including for earthquake and snow events, where it was proven that our business model of multiple warehouses across six different locations in Auckland and Christchurch leaves us well-positioned to manage any issues that may arise.
